Overview:
The AU8810 is a fully GB20600-2006 single-carrier compliant, high performance channel decoder supporting all single carrier digital terrestrial TV broadcast modes and standards for the China market. The AU8810 is based on a unique patent protected architecture called FADETM (fully adaptive demodulation and equalization), which enables the AU8810 to provide the “best in class” single carrier performance among all demodulators in the DTMB receiver market. The AU8810 is an highly integrated SOC consisting of an high speed 12-bit ADC, programmable IF input, automatic mode detection circuit and memory. Based around Auvitek’s unique FADETM demodulation architecture, the AU8810 sets a new bar in multi-carrier receiver performance and builds on Auvitek’s history of high volume shipments of market leading single-carrier ATSC channel decoders. The solutions based on the AU8810 are able to experience stable reception in all modes of operation, faster lock and channel change times, consistent performance across a wide range of network topologies and low operating power enabling it to be used in a variety of applications such as STB, DTV, CE equipment, after market accessories and PCTV.
